Head of Faculty – Margaret Hamilton

We offer a wide range of full and part time programmes designed for those in employment or those seeking to work in specific areas. Many of our courses offer an articulation route into Higher Education and start at Access Level through to HNC/HND and SVQ Level 1 to 3. We also run a comprehensive selection of courses aimed at school pupils.

The Faculty employs around 40 members of staff based in our Main Campus and throughout the community campuses in Rutherglen, Glenwood and Govanhill.

Many of the courses we offer are vocationally focused and to ensure our students get relevant experience, we run operational salons dealing with clients in Hairdressing (Glenwood Campus), Beauty Therapy (Langside, Rutherglen and Govanhill Campuses) and Complementary Therapies (Rutherglen Campus).

We deliver a number of specialised courses such as Dental Technology, Floristry and Garden Design. We are one of only two centres in Scotland offering qualifications in each of these areas and are the sole provider of HNC Occupational Therapy Support. We are also the main provider of craft level training in Horticulture in the West of Scotland.
