Langside College is well renowned for the extensive range of education and care courses we offer; from Childcare and Playwork to Social Care. Each of which are delivered by lecturers who are not only experts in their chosen field but also have extensive work experience which can be shared with students. Our Reputation for excellence in a wide range of food related courses is reflected within our diverse programmes. We deliver customised programmes to suit our client base as well as recognised qualifications for the food industry. Once successfully completed, our qualifications can provide students with employment opportunities in the hospitality industry. We offer a range of Special Programmes which are designed to meet the needs of individual students who have additional support needs. These courses enable students to develop skills in personal, social and vocational areas. Langside college is the longest established provider of Sports Studies courses in the West of Scotland. We offer a diverse range of sporting subjects and uniquely combine our SQA course work with many National Governing Body Skills and Instructional Qualifications. These recognised qualifications give our students the best chance of moving on to worthwhile and fulfilling employment in Sport or continuing their studies at University.
