Booking a computer @ the CLIC?

It's as easy as    with MyPC!

 Walk up booking

For an instant booking of up to 2 hours simply log on to an available computer using your college network log in details as follows:

Username = your last name + student card number (e.g. smith10101234)

Password = as set by you

If you do not have a network account then you can still book onto a computer, using a guest account, with staff at the Issue Desk.

If you want to book a computer in advance, or you do not have a college network account, then you can make a booking with library staff at the Issue Desk.

You can also log into the MyPC booking system, using your college log in details, to make bookings for yourself. Book now!

Rules/Limits

Whatever booking method is used the following rules/limits apply:

• max. of 2 hours per booking (30 minute extension is possible);
• max. of 6 bookings (totalling no more than 5 hours) per day;
• max. of 6 advance bookings allowed up to one week in advance;
• 3 warnings (at 10, 5 & 3 minutes to go) to save any open documents
  PLEASE NOTE: YOUR WORK WILL BE LOST IF YOU DO NOT DO SO;
• advance bookings are held for 10 minutes before being cancelled;
• use of the computers are strictly limited to the CLIC's opening hours;
• improper use or behaviour can lead to a ban from accessing any of the computers in the CLIC.

Logging off

Please remember to log off the computer once you have finished with it to make sure that:

• your network space and files are safe
• the computer is made available for someone else to use

To log off simply click on the Start button, select the Log Off command and finally click on the Log Off button.
